""Karma," he [Buddha] often said, "is intention": i.e., a movement of the mind that occurs each time we think, speak, or act. By being mindful of this process, we come to understand how intentions lead to habitual patterns of behavior, which in turn affect the quality of our experience."
Stephen Batchelor, Buddhism Without Beliefs.

Thubten Dhargye Ling, a Dharma center located in Long Beach, California, is dedicated to the study of Tibetan Buddhism. Founded in 1978 by the late Ven. Geshe Tsultim Gyeltsen, it has been a source of authentic Dharma instruction rooted in the Gelugpa lineage from Gaden Shartse Monastery and Nagarjuna, Asanga, Atisha, Lama Tsong Khapa, and the Dalai Lamas.

Our center has hosted such renowned teachers as H.E. Kyabje Lati Rinpoche and Kyabje Zong Rinpoche and has on several occasions sponsored appearances and teachings by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama in the greater Los Angeles.
