""Karma," he [Buddha] often said, "is intention": i.e., a movement of the mind that occurs each time we think, speak, or act. By being mindful of this process, we come to understand how intentions lead to habitual patterns of behavior, which in turn affect the quality of our experience."
Stephen Batchelor, Buddhism Without Beliefs.

Center's Description
The RIGDZIN DHARMA FOUNDATION opened February 23, 2005 in Albuquerque, New Mexico under the spiritual direction of the Venerable Traga Rinpoche (see Bio). Traga Rinpoche is the Retreat Master and Resident Lama for the Garchen Buddhist Institute in Arizona and will provide regular teachings in Albuquerque along with other invited Lamas. To have such an accomplished Mahamudra and Dzogchen Master here brings great blessings and opportunities for practice and study to practitioners of all levels and lineages!

Our grand opening was during the “Magical Month” and on the auspicious day when the Buddha performed miracles. Wonderful teachings continued for two weeks to give our center many blessings for its future work.
