"Meditative discipline is vital to dharma practice precisely because it leads us beyond the realm of ideas to that of felt-experience,"

Center's Description
The Wichita Karma Kagyu Study Group (KKSG) was established in 1996 to create an authentic Tibetan Buddhist practice community in the Wichita area.

Members of the KKSG hold weekly meetings for meditation practice and study. In addition, we host visiting teachers and offer other special programs throughout the year.

Thursday's dharma classes are for students at all levels of practice. The classes are designed to provide a foundation in basic Buddhist teachings, and to prepare students for further study and practice in Tibetan Buddhism.

Ongoing meditation workshops and opportunities for one-on-one meditation instruction will also be available.

Anyone who is interested in practicing Buddhist meditation or learning about Tibetan Buddhism is encouraged to call.

For more information about our weekly schedule, and to find out about upcoming special events, please call or send an e-mail.
